Default Minimum ambient temperature for rattle-can spray painting?

I doing the aluminium swing arm on the Busa. (Original paint is simply flaking away) Sanding, priming and satin black. I'm thinking it's still a tad chilly in my unheated shed for decent results. Doesn't need to be showroom, I spend more time riding them than polishing them but a good finish would be nice.
Appreciate any advice gents.

Humidity is a bigger factor
Get a cheep fan heater will fix both problems.
And get the can of paint up to around 30 degrees.

Check the can for the minimum temp. It needs to be above the dew point I think because otherwise as it dries it has a milky grey finish instead of black. Happened to me once and had to strip it all back and start again. Lesson learned

a hairdryer will be ideal to dry out any moisture in the metal which in turn should prevent any drips, another tip for the aerosol is stand it in a saucepan of warm water which will bring the paint to ideal spraying temp

Is the swingarm off the bike? Bring it into the house overnight. Any bit of heat you can get into the swingarm will help flash off the solvent in the paint and give you a better finish. Use an etch primer for best results on bare alloy.

I did the same on mine around this time of year and it was fine. Halfords matt black is an exact copy of matt Suzuki factory paint. Make sure you use etch primer because it's aluminum
