I'd never heard of such a thing.

What's the story are they twist and go or clutch and gears?

I'm sure they're great fun for 5 minutes but how are they for practical usability and longevity as actual transportation?

They're not scooters, they're proper 125 bikes.

Practicality will depend on your point of view. For city use, you can't have a better bike really. But some good tyres and it will do you for some light offroad as well and there's nothing better to act like a maggot without any severe consequences.

Bikes are still pretty brand new, but when depreciation gets them down a little bit more, I'll say that you'll see them all around.

I've seen this particular bike last year on one of the local runs and it just looks amazing.

Ah its grand in around town and short spins. But i think if you wanted to do more than a few hours constant either get used to standing from time to time or get an aftermarket seat

Akra makes it sound like a much bigger bike. You get some seriously funny looks when they see this little thing tippy along sounding like its doing 100mph but really its only 30

Is indeed, we were doing a shoot for BBG, that's Ralph the photographer riding bitch, we had to change location and it was insisted that quickest way was if he went with me.
