Default Replacement tax book

Anyone done this lately?
I know I have to get form RF134 stamped at the local cop station,
But if I bring that form to the motor tax office, will they give me a new cert then and there,or do I have to post it off and wait for one?

Thanks

AFAIK, all new registration certs come from Shannon by post.

From Sligo CoCo:
"Vehicle Registration Certificates are posted directly to you by the Department of Transport, Shannon, Co. Clare.

All other replacement documents issue from your local Motor Taxation Office
."

Just write your credit card details on the outside of the envelope so they don't miss them
