Guys / gals,
need a fuel pump for the R6 fairly pronto, has anyone got a list of breakers that might have one? Only have numbers for Gorey (on holidays until 8th Aug) and City Spares (Ringing out). Thoughts of using the train for the week kills me!!!

Cheers

P.S. can get one for a thundercat 600 but not sure if its the same.

cheers Liamo.

I looked at the microfische and R6 part number is 5EB-13907 and Thundercat is 4TV-13907. I know 5EB is the model code for my bike so it might be the same.

you could try partfinder.co.uk - they've a pretty good service but it'll be posted to you so it'll probably take a week

yupp, just outta the blue the bike cut out on friday. Would only start on full choke but rev it and it would die. Let it cool down and it wouldn't start at all.
Had a look at it saturday and if we forced petrol into the carbs with a syringe it started first time but connect up the pump & tank again and nothing.

Maybe you could remove/bypass the fuel pump for the time being, means you would'nt be able to use full tank of petrol when it hits reserve though. This would only be temp.measure till you got the new pump but if you dont need to use the bike in the meantime, better off to wait till you fit the new one i suppose.

i'm 99% sure the Cat one is the same, going over to mountrath this evenin to see - RM breakers have one.
Insured the cage again yesterday - what a feckin waste of money seeing as its gonna be sitting there when i get the bike back, but it had to be done. :kwasny:
