looks like i wont be biking anywhere for a while they guy i was buying the left footrest hanger off of binned his SV yesterday and smashed his. now he wont sell the spare (naturally enough)

Would i get away with having it welded temporarily? i have the various pieces of the hanger.

If you're really stuck & can get it to Limerick, a friend of mine can weld it up for you (specialises in tig ali welding).
