Never turned a wheel in 2016 and wants to battle the rock on an undeveloped bike?

Typical Guy but, a big big ask.

Only a few months ago he said he was done with the tt because you have to spend the whole year committed and working up to it, now he's got 6 months

Andys point is very valid.
It's gonna be an uphill struggle if he wants to be on the pace which being Guy he will. He has a lot of work to do between now and June but he's a hard worker so he could surprise but I personally can't see him picking up silverware to be honest.
Hope he stays safe

Re: Guy Martin returns to the TT

If im not mistaken, was McGuiness not riding a blade thats a few yrs told...? Looks like the current model but isnt.

he never really gone on with newer updated bikes, hence staying with the 09 one ( i think ) ? How will he fair out now with a whole new bike altogether. He is seriously quick and so smooth.

Re: Guy Martin returns to the TT

I'd say no matter what he's been doing for 2016 he'd be fitter than McGuinness, he's surely been riding bikes and yung wans and sheep and god knows what else during that series of ultimate fails for channel 4, word on the street is that Hollywood are in on the act and have approached Ansty, Hutchy, mcguinness and Dunlop with 6 figure sums in order to let him win for a new blockbuster movie.

Hello Arabs, here's that sand you ordered!

We'll get an indication on his potential after the NW200 that he's entered in also.

The report mentions the TT and NW but not the Ulster. Would've thought the latter represented his best chance of success?

I reckon this is good news, for the TT and Honda.

I'd love to see Martin win a TT. You don't luck into as many podiums as he's had, even against the likes of Mickey D and Hutchy.

This. I've listened to the autobiographies lately and he's said a few times he wouldn't go back unless it was to ride some weird or wonderful mad machine, he sounded genuinely disinterested in the whole scene. Must be mega monies gone his way for it!

I'll be there for the first time this year
