Also if anyone does overshoot the foxhunter there's a sliproad right after it they could pull in and wait n give someone a call. It takes forever to drive back around as if you go over the next bridge and turn around you've to go all the way (I think) back to feckin palmerstown before you get a chance to U turn back up. ridiculous design but sure tis good ol repuberlic of eejits we're livin in I guess.
if anyone over shoots the foxhunter, keep left and along the wall theres an opening for traffic to turn back in which you can drive down! keep left tho and its on the bend as your coming towards the lights! i noticed it last time i over shot it

There's at least two other routes there that I know of..

Don't get me wrong I'm heading down but I'm not going on the motorway and getting done for no license which means no insurance for sitting at 120 all the way up to Athlone..
Why dont you head off early go one of the back road routes and meet us at Connaghtons. The reason we decided to head the motorway was time, same reason we decided not to go into Kinnegad to meet the others.
Above all else today we have to make sure this runs as smoothly as pssible for Owens family which means being where we are meant to be bang on time when the hearse is ready to go. We were thinkin of changin leaving time from Foxhunters from 2:30 to 2 but felt it was too late people may not log on to see change in time, so have to take most direct route.

Re: Funeral Arrangements PartyWizard (Eoghain McManus)

I would like to say a huge Thanks to Fraser5454, although we have all been posting here most of the organising and communicating with Owen Snr and family has been done by Fraser, when we leave the foxhunter please ONLY follow Fraser, he will be in black textiles on a GSXR1000, for various reasons I will be going ahead of group or going off course to meet with others who are joining us so please DO NOT follow me. Again thanks to everyone who making the effort and joining. See you all shortly

Just a heads up again about all the gravel on some of the back rounds around Drum, I was only up there last week and it's thick and heavy on some bends so be careful people. Don't need any heros today. See yis at the fox at 2.

Re: Funeral Arrangements PartyWizard (Eoghain McManus)

As i looked around today i couldnt help but be reminded that biker is much more than a term for someone who rides a bike. Its a definition of character and solidarity! Lads and Ladies from all over the country came to pay their respects to a great lad.
and as stig says well dont to the guys who arranged today.

RIP Eoin. (PartyWizard)

Great turnout today lads, Fraser and Frank did a great job with the organising, cheers lads and fair play to everyone who turned up, a testament to the spirit and solidarity of the Biker.ie family. It was a very sad day and best wishes to his friends, family and loved ones. Needless to say if there's anything they need will always be here to help.

Its all about the journey
Its the part that counts
Even when he gets there
He may just turn around.

He rides like an eagle, flying
All along the stars
It's all about the journey
Safe now from any harm.

Too soon he left to travel
Beyond where we can see
But its all about the journey
Forever riding free.

Brought a small smile to may face when that was read out, on an otherwise very sad day.

Just to say well done to fraser and frank for organising everythin today and everyone else who showed up. was truely the send off he deserved. fair play.
RIP
