Re: parking

Did you try the carpark in Connolly station? I see bikes parked near the platform, they might be staff though. Worth checking out

Re: parking

Grand canal dock seems to be safe enough, which is about 10 mins walk away. Lock it to a pole or bike rack there and should be fine

Re: parking

The only place I would park in town is at a Garda station.

Worked in and around the ifsc for a few years a while back now.

Talk to the lads working security there. There was a number of lads on mobile patrol securing the buildings around George's Dock. Explain your situation and I've no doubt they'll help you out unless the staff has changed. A tall lean Irish man called John was in charge and did most of the mobile patrolling. Sound out.

A cover is a wise investment. But to be honest if they want it they'll have it. Be sure your insurance will cover you. Unless parked at my gaff my insurance won't cover me for theft within a mile I think if left overnight.

Re: parking

I pay 50 a month for a carpark space NEAR Oconnell street. Not expensive considering security guy right beside bikes, camera on bikes and when selling a bike from there guy arrived early, walked in to look at bike and security and his mate where straight out and asked him to wait outside.
Parked on street b4 this for couple of days, came to check on bike and 2 little kids where up on it. So none of that anymore.
