Default Few pics from Portimao track weekend

What a savage week away.
Rollercoaster of a race track and 22 degree heat too.
The elevation changes around the track are deadly and the last corner onto the start/finish straight goes on forever.
Flat out in 4th and 5th gear knee down through the dipping last corner, and then banging up into 6th as you get onto the straight.
Jupiter Hotel won't forget us lot too easily...

Savage, looks like a great spot! I presume that R1M was on his outlap and blew you into the weeds a few corners later

Any go-pro action ?

No go pro action unfortunately.
We had great craic.
A few crashes on the Sunday from some of the UK lads with tiredness and people pushing too far.

The R1m was slow out of the dipping last corner every session, and he only just got me on the straight but I had him back at turn 3 and then I managed to clear off from him out back of track.
Gearing for the 600 bikes was 16 45 or 15 44.

I went with 15 44 ( Steve @ NDM) and just focused on trying to learn the track.

The hill down to turn 1was awesome....you get goaded into braking later and later and tipping into turn 1.

Problem was other riders being nervous and chickening out of turn 1 and all most causing pile ups.

But the craic on and off track was mighty indeed.

Next up is Cartagena or Slovakia Ring maybe.

It's a pity the photos are a bit blurred / not tack sharp as the wheelie setting is class, you should bring a go-pro to Cartagena and head around the paddock with a selfie stick ( don't mind the bedrudgers ) to do a little #44teeth style video.

Yeah GoPro for future track events.
It was with No Limits in the UK.
20 of us went from Ireland so No Limits arranged for a truck to come over to Dublin and collect the bikes.

Cartagena track at night will be with MotoCraft.

Brilliant, always wanted to do one of the UK arranged ones but the drop off and pick up of bike always put me off, if you are ever doing this again and are looking for numbers drop me a PM
