Default Good deals on gear (not that kind of gear)

Lads I need to buy a new jacket and trousers. Been in and out of bikeworld and Iím not giving them my money nor am I sure on what I even want.

Keen to get a jacket and trouser combo, waterproof, street wear style. Been looking at the RST stuff and the dainese gear but honestly donít know where to be getting a bargain nowadays

Any ideas on good offers going right now?

So you don't know what you want, or how much you want to pay?

I've got some stuff here. I don't know what it is but I want 3Million yoyos for it. Is that acceptable to you?

Well the shop you don't want to shop in are doing an offer worth 20% off matching jacket plus trousers according to their faceballs page. Tonight only.
I'd still go Cotters myself

Get sized by trying stuff on in store and then you could shop online but sometimes you might get a store discount. When i bought some stuff in Lees in Cork i couldn't find it cheaper online...

Loving all the recommendations for Cotters. It's where I bought my last lid too.

I'll go down on Saturday.

@Gixxer. That's a very fair point.... Turns out I want the best stuff for the lowest cost, is that too much to ask!? No seriously I want more street wear, waterproof, matching jacket and trousers. Prob textile.

Above

Spend the money, [email protected] have a huge arrange of alpinestars & Halvarssons ( which i now have ) and Rukka . Not worth buying cheap. Used Astars for 3 years everyday commuting, and jacket never let up

I used lindstrands 2 pce rain gear over my gear when bad, best ive ever used, two piece.

If you go with textile.......whichever brand you choose, try and stretch your budget to "Laminated membrane"

No one has mentioned trying the girls in Harley/Triumph/Ducati for Rev'it clothing. If they don't have what you want they will get it in for you to try with no obligation to buy.

I have used them a few times and got great service.

As someone who works in a shop these are generally the worst kind of people. Will ask all sorts of stupid questions, waste your time like it's worth nothing, ask your recommendation and f*ck off and get it online. Some are stupid enough to thank you and tell you they are getting it elsewhere.

I prefer to save money and buy stuff online, as it's usually a lot cheaper, but I hate cunts who go to bricks and mortar shops to try stuff on, then go home and buy it online. They're the lowest of the low, pure fucking scum. They're the sort of cunt who expects everything for nothing. The kind of cunt that plagues Adverts.ie. They should have been aborted before birth.
And I don't work in a shop.

Paid 950 straight and when I got home just wanted to check something online, price for both was 790 total if I had bought online from them, the same shop. I got back to the shop and they told me, yup that's online price but in the store you pay more (you know when I will come there and buy something again, right?). Also all the helmets people are trying there and put on their heads, that's the helmet you actually get in the end. From an online shop, you will always get brand new, in original package, never used gear.

Went to bikeworld today in the end. The guys were very helpful but I'd done some research before going in. I bought some jeans because I wanted a pair for the summer but for jackets/gloves/trousers it's hard to justify some of the prices. I spent a few hundred euro in there today but do feel like I can get my other gear elsewhere.
