Are Lml vespa classic scooters reliable

Im thinking of buying a vespa px 125 or Lml star 125 two stroke. I have two stroke scramblers so I know a fair bit about them and know they can be a bit more troublesome. But are they always broken or anything like that.

Also are the Lml 125 star two strokes modern ones any good?

Thanks for answering

Re: Are Lml vespa classic scooters reliable

I had one. Fairly bullet proof over all with a little bit of effort. That said, a px200 is a better bet, the insurance is much the same. Plus you can do the full test on one if you have to. Also, you dont need wide open throttle to keep up on the motorway. Wiring is better on the px than the lml as well in my own experience.
