Default Re: audio in helmet

Many people don't take account of the decibel levels you are exposing yourself to with helmet audio. Proper noise cancelling stuff should be ok but earplugs or speakers encourage you to crank up the volume when the helmet or wind noise gets too loud to hear the audio any more. That can result in at least temporary if not permanent noise induced hearing loss. Why do so many lads wear foam earplugs under the lid? Noise cancelling in a helmet is a bit dodgy too as it can really isolate you from your surroundings.
