Re: Help Identifying bike

She's a big single, mid 20s (not yer granny) , in frame tank, and that looks like a BSA old logo on the tank.

That bike could be 25 years old in that photo. It looks like it's had a few bits and pieces done to it, Gawd knows what bike the parts came from.

My best guess is that it's a BSA S29, but the exhaust header looks non-standard...

Nah, they have inline V twin. Bike in the photo is a single.

Raleigh Model 20 with a BSA lump thrown into it?

Not an in frame tank though.

custom900 16th November 2019 04:38 PM

Re: Help Identifying bike

I'd say Gixxer's is the closest yet, it has the slightly shorter tank.

Re: Help Identifying bike

However I'm now leaning towards a model L 350.

All we can really be sure of is its a 1920s BSA single. I reckon that's the closest we'll get.

Now I'm losing the head altogether. Are they exposed pushrod on dewi's bike?

If so it's a 350 L27!

Yup I'd say that's it . Even the gear linkage rod and hand shifter look to be in same spots .
