Tyre date markings

It's the first time I've ever bought tyres (PR4) off the web and I'm concerned about how old they might be.. I've had a look all over both tyres for the date marking but can't seem to find it. Does anyone know what it looks like or what the format is on these tyres?

EDIT: Can it really be this?...

EDIT#2: ahh...this looks better with week number and year...

Re: Tyre date markings

usually its just 4 digit code. Last 2 digits represent year of manufacturing and first 2 represent week manufactured.

First date is to do with conformity or when it was patented etc

July/Aug 2018

Note the tall ridge around "3118". All the other markings are
from the tyre mould. The date code is from a removable plate
which is replaced weekly.
