Ultrasonic cleaning solution

Anyone here got sonic bath..?

Just wondering what you are using as a cleaning agent... I used a degreaser and water but wasnt overly excited by the finish...

Thanks

I use Methylated spirits or 99% IPA, IPA usually does the job tbh. I get it from a lad in Cork on ebay.

have a 40l, usually use a little degreaser mixed with boiling water and lemon juice. finish is never perfect after, carbs come out shiny usually but not like new, for that you want soda blasting.

I use Mek, it's not cheap, I filter it and reuse it afterwards but I only have a small branson that'll take one carb at a time. Did a lovely job on the carbs off the Z900 which after 40 years were very gunged up.
