Gotta be worth a punt at that money, but I wouldn't expect to be cutting anything more than 5 or 6 mm with it.

Do what everyone else does in Lidl. Rob all the spares out of the other boxes.

You know what really boils my piss. Those fucking Euro quick release air connectors that are on all of Lidl's shite!
WTF is wrong with the tried and trusted PCL couplings that we've used since forever?
Euro cunts!

Definitely worth a punt at that money. I highly doubt it will do 12mm though but at that price who cares :lbhbh:

Always the same conversation with myself....

- Do I need it?
- No.
- Do I want it?
- Yes.
- But why?
- Because of reasons
- Do I have the spare money?
- Not really
- Will I still get it anyways?
- Probably...

Would this thing run off a 12v halfords adapter plug ?

I'm pretty sure kiosk dispensers and bank ATM's are only 6mm steel.

It'd run off a decent inverter :ninja:

A neighbour got one . Cut 6mm steel like a hot knife through butter . And cut 10mm steel a little slower but no bother to it . Use a block of timber as a straight guide and it cuts very clean

Re: Lidl Plasma Cutter??

I bought one but I've not opened the box yet. I'm going to make a CNC plasma cutter from it.

I hope it doesn't take as long as some of my bike projects, or I'll be dead before I finish it

To make it CNC? A frame, stepper motors, ball screws, slides and a control board.

I'm going to make a laser cutter/engraver first, then once that's working OK I'll just make it bigger and attach the torch or make a new one.

Air compressor capable of decent CFM. I didnt see the spec so dont know for sure. I also assume that all consumables etc are inclused.

As above, just a compressor.

It comes with one of those 16A plugs attached.

So you'll need a socket for it, or just replace it with a normal 13A plug.

surely it's fitted with a 16A commando for a reason? What's the current draw on it likely to be?
