Loaner: 4 way manometers

I'm trying to sort out some vibes with the VF and need to balance the carbs to eliminate that possibility.

Anyone have a loan of a set of 4 x vacuum gauges?

Don't have the brass to spring for a set right now.

Payment in beer, crisps, biscuits, etc.

Dublin area, but can collect further afield.

Can return the favour for fork seal drivers (41 and 43mm), clutch holding tool, Ducati steering head socket, Honda single side swing arm eccentric adjuster, fork seal tickler.

Cheers,

A

Hey Dave!
Indeed I recall, and thanks again. However, wasn't yours a two gauge set up?
That was fine for a v-twin, but this is for a v-four.
I've read the procedure for the four, and it looks as if the two-way gauge is a bit tricky, due to the crank timing between the cylinders. Now, if you've acquired a 4-gauge set in the meantime...

Aye, can't deny I've been around a while, I hope as something more valued than a bad smell :smileee:

No worries on away till Saturday, it would be the weekend before I can get stuck in anyway.

Much appreciated.

Will PM you for details.

Cheers All.

Have both 2 and 4 gauge manometer (for gs and vfr). Give us a shout if you're stuck...

You are a star!

That would be great.

I could drop over tomorrow at some stage, whenever it suits. Hoping to get stuck in Saturday.

Will send you a text.

Thanks very much.

So, thanks again to @Rockster!

Very much appreciated.

And, as you can see, they were a little out!

But after a bit of fiddling, and it is fiddly, a bit of improvement.

Did it sort out the vibes?
Did it, f*ck!

Hunting the possibility of a cracked or damaged engine mount now.

Good luck in the search for the mysterious vibes! At least you can say you have eliminated that issue. Glad to have been of some help....
