Need 2007 R1 Serviced - looking for a Dublin based mechanic

Hey,

I'm looking to get my 2007 R1 serviced. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere in Dublin City Center so I can drop the bike in while I'm at work.

It just needs a basic service, so nothing fancy. Just oil, filters, etc.

Any recommendations for a decent shop on town?

I work right near the liffey, so either side works.

Closest off top of head, if they do it and I can't see why they wouldn't, cityspares. You could walk to work and back to collect. They are just down the road.

Basic service, can you not manage yourself. It really is quite simple.

I've worked on the aftermath of too many "would you not service it yourself" bikes.
If you don't know what you're doing, let someone do it who does know what they're doing.

Iíve always found M&A Motorcycles on the North Strand good to deal with.

M&A are a sound bunch of lads based at the five lamps/amiens street.

JP motorcycles are sound too and are based near pearse street.

Mega Bikes is kevin street area.

Take you pick

Thanks for the suggestions.

I could do the work myself but I have no garage and don't fancy doing in the back garden in the wind + rain these days. I also want someone else to look over the bike before I do a few more track days this year.

I've used NDM before for servicing and have nothing but good things to say about them. It's just a little awkward to get to (and get home from when you leave your bike there)

I'll try out JP. It's just up the road and they've been there forever.

If you want them to look over the bike and do some visual and basic checks, ask for it.

I don't think too many garages will do it out of their own initiative if you just asked for an oil change. They might even charge you extra for it...

Just my two cents.

Got it serviced in JP. Very happy with the outcome. Well priced and nice to deal with and super handy for me. Will use them again.

Bought my first bike off them years ago, couldn't have been nicer to a clueless newbie.
