Where are you based... if your in Dublin.. city spares may have one.. they used to let me borrow a part. Pay for it.. bring it home and check it out... if it works.. keep it.. if not they'd take it back off me.... there alright like that... bee a while since I've bee in with them though

Re: transalp
What are the signs and symptoms of your issue?
May not be the cdi, they were fairly solid in them.
I've a set of carbs for spares here off one, the linkage between the carbs is worn so only good for spares.

Re: transalp
Coil? Somtimes coils go lala when hot and back to normal after cooling down.

Re: transalp
330e for a cdi???? Are you mad for a 94 bike.
That's original honda I'm guessing?

Lots of new and used ones on eBay and in breakers and lots of spurious ones around for 65e.

That sounds more like coils as suggested above.

Always do the cheapest thing first.
Spark plugs,
Ht leads,
plug caps,
Coul also be carb related, so if the above doesn't work clean them out.

Re: transalp
CDI failure was a common problem on these. The weight of rider pushing the seat down on cdi's caused intermittent dropping of one cylinder. Fix is to put a bar over the cdi's to protect them in future . Obviously cdi must be replaced.
I got mine from the states.
My bike is 1987. No problem since.

Re: transalp
You can open and repair the cdiís on them...they run 2 separate coils per cylinder with a wasted spark, unlikely both are failing on 1 cylinder.

Re: transalp
You did say you've gone through a few of them!, so maybe it's something else causing the CDi to blow., eitherway - if you swapped the dud with a city spares one and told them it was fucked to get your money back, it'd be a 'do not pass Go, do not collect 200euro, one-way-ticket straight to hell'.
