I'm a 19 year old college student and I'm looking to get my first bike and start riding.
To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. It's tough though to find good advice on bikes, insurance, gear etc. So I'm wondering if anybody would have advice on: Bikes- cheap and cheerful and not too big on insurance Insurance- good places to get a cheap quote (if possible To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. ) And any other advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks a million, Ciarán |

Theory test (if you haven't already got a A permit)
Quinn Direct for insurance, only fellas that will quote you. Bike: Something <250cc til you're 21. Remember it may also have to be restricted to 33hp (eg hornet 250) |

Firstly see what kind of bike you want - Scoot v Sports v Cruiser
Could go to bike shop & sit on a few. The see can you get a quote for insurance. Theres only 4 motorcycle insurers. I would recommend bros400 as good solid bike to start on if you can get one. Hope this helps To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. Welcome to To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. |

Quinn will realistically be the only crowd who will insure you. I got quotes of 1000s off the other companies, some were even willing to do me a favour and quote me up to 125cc
