Default New to 2 wheeled motors

Hi
Just wanted to say "howya" to all and ask for some advice.

have been lurking a wee bit on this forum and others for a while now....

A bit of background info....
I'm looking for a bike for commuting from Drogheda to Dublin. so sick of sitting in traffic.

I'm 33 years of age and 5' 11"

I've got my A provisional and had a few bike lessons with a few more to go.

bikes I am looking at are Transalp, Vstrom or F650GS (restricted of course).
budget around €2k-€3k.

does anyone think these bikes may be a bit big for a first bike. also if anyone is selling one within that price bracket let me know.

thanks

"Transalp, Vstrom or F650GS (restricted of course)".....great choice Quick..

You'll not go wrong with any of the above list bikes for a first bike...Personally I'd have the Vstrom...

And for that buget....you'll pick up a cracking bike for that now..

Good luck with the selection & welcome...

I'm 5ft 11 as well and a mate of mine has a Transalp and it's huge.It dont matter about your height,it's the inside leg measurement that counts.Enjoy the bike hunt.
