The section between B and C isnt the best road in that its narrow but its a decent surface and you can see a good bit ahead in places + some good views there. Found a class route in Donegal. Starts of a lovely scenic route with no traffic through the Donegal mountains from a beautiful town on the west of Donegal. Then after Ardara (N56) you get a sweet road no straights all bends, perfect new road as well....Best road I've been on so far.

I like this route
To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. Some great twisties and long sweeping bends. Good surface most of the way too I wouldn't pass to much remarks on the directions in Drogheda. You'd be going past the hospital and taking a left straight out the Ballymakenny rd |

For anyone in the Wexford\Waterford/Kilkenny Area The R700 between New Ross and kilkenny is quite an enjoyable road with lots of twistys and reasonably good road surface.
Heres the link. To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. |

This is perhaps too obvious to bother mentioning...
To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. I built this route in Google Earth, created a Google account specially for you guys and laboriously imported the whole shebang into Google Maps; that shows how much I like biker.ie To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. The good thing about Google Earth is you can get an idea of the terrain, as in these images: To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. If you set your 'Tour' options right (i.e. close in, slowish speed and high angle), you can get a reasonable idea of what travelling the route might be like. I've taken some of your URLs and opened them directly in Google Earth for a mouth-watering muck-about To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. |

A lovely one with best of both, Blessington, baltinglass, castledermot, carlow, athy, kilcullen, naas and home. Fill the tank but a great blaster on a fine morning. Take in Kilkenny and castlecomer if you've got the time. Round trip hour and a half.
