Exclamation Sky Extra Channels Adding Them:

Was putting these into my (future) sister-in-laws box the other day.

Not sure If people know how to add them or not, but if you want to add the following channels then here is how.

The following channels is what you will receive.

ITV London, ITV2, ITV2 +1, ITV3, ITV3 +1, ITV4, ITV4+1, CITV,
BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, CBBC, CBEEBIES, BBC NEWS, BBC Parliament, BBC Alba, (good for scottish premier games)
FIVE

The channels are all over the place on different transponders and frequencys, but if you add them in the following way, they should end up in a nice list format.

To tune them in:

Press SERVICES on the remote control.
option 4: SYSTEM SET-UP
option 4: ADD CHANNELS

Just following on screen info to change to frequency, symbol rate, polarisation etc.

ITV 1, 2, 4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>10.758 V 22000 5/6

ITV4+1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>10.832 H 22000 5/6

ITV2+1,>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>10.891 H 22000 5/6

ITV3, ITV3+1>>>>>>>>>>>>>10.906 V 22000 5/6

BBC 1,2,3,4 Five,>>>>>>>>>>10.773 H 22000 5/6

BBC News, Alba, Parliament>>>11.954 H 27500 2/3

To watch them:

Press SERVICES on the remote control.
option 7: OTHER CHANNELS

You should end up with a list that looks something like this.

Hope this helps anyone out.

i've a list of every extra channel you can add if you want it.

Add too many though and it'll delete them itself though.

Sky+ fuggin rocks. If your recording on eurosport theough, record the program before and the program after it too. Their timing is bananas. I recored some of the snooker the other night and the first hour was tennis
i also missed the last few laps in a bsb round last year. Lesson learned.

You can set the sky+ to add time before and after a program - think the default time is 2 mins, but you can add up to 30 (I think). Find the "sky+ set up" option on the Services menu and I think it's in there (it's kinda obvious that I'm not at my TV at the moment, eh...)

Do you not think it's appropriate behaviour to be interfering with your future sister-in-law's box?

your brother won't be too happy

Ive had the E4 and channel 4 tuned in, along with film 4 and more 4.

But I just popped the sky card upside down and am using the UK epg.

(it's an old sky box with no subscription)

I thought this might help as the BSB was on ITV4 on Tuesday for an hour, 5pm till 6pm , and +1 is very helpful and people might be missing out.
