Brilliant idea Chopper!
two of my friends were recently going to get bikes, a cbr250 and (for some reason..) a bandit 250, in their teens and just about had the price of everything - until the insurance told them they have to restrict.
one lad just said fook this and bought a car but a cbr 250 one is still required methinks!

hi Greenhorn, thanks for that. I've been tryin 2 check out for ages if it definitely needs to be restricted or not, and it seems to be a bit unknown. But going on bhp and power to weight ratio it seems the 535 is just about over the specifications?? So seems best thing to do for now is get restricted so at least i'm covered for sure?? Thanks tho for the post. Its biker.ie thing when ya type in one spelling ya get the viagra bit

Could be done but it would involve dyno runs so would get expensive.

or if lads wanted to sell the old restrictors reasonable i could pass on the price +labour for fitting.

bear in mind its not to make money (im busy enough ) its to try reduce costs of lads getting on the road .

ill make a list of the restrictors sent/available on this thread if needed.

good idea or bad idea ?
great idea especially in current climate .
