question chop -

gonna have to go this route as I is honest joe - although restricting a zzr1100 would probably castrate it to level it wouldn't go fast enough to stay upright.

do you need the bike to fit restrictors - or as engine is likely to be out for head gasket / chain / shims etc could you work with the engine and carbs ?-

if your offer of shimming @ 180 or so is still current - theres not much more stripping for chain and gasket - it might make sense for me to deliver the lump and carbs to you and pay you the extra plus the restrictors in one go

errr. id realy rather fit it to a whole bike and not just the motor , re:shims, if the motors out id say the shims would prob take about 50 labour and whatever shims are needed @5 a shim . defo less than 100

was thinking after that you'd need the bike details to cert - and what's to say that that engine actually went back into the bike - will get back to you re: shims - still waiting on CDI to find out if head gasket really cooked

just putting off the inevitable - I know I'm gonna have to drop the engine - problem is herself - bike looks grand outside the house complete - as soon as I strip it she's gonna regard it as "another pile of fuggin junk"
