the bike is restricted as required by law, my cert carries the same weight as the fi one here

How are you gonna prove they are infact 33BHP
(for the love of god dont let them know about dyno's individual testing would take 50% of us off the road

If they did ye sure making them here is gonna keep cost down and somebody in a job and the money in the country.
BUT the law works in mysterious ways

fi international dont make restrictors , they just add a cert to them and sell them .the certs they have are not officialy recognised here nor are any other certs . theres a big opening there for an irish company to get into making reasonably priced restrictors imo(not me though).lads with dynos here are already detuning bikes, putting them on unverified dynos and giving certs with them

for real jasus, who is worse them doing it or lads paying for it!
sure all they have to do is buy a bros and run that with different reg's on the cert. I cant see that holding up.
what are the legal standings on it??
If a bike was to be investigated are you leaving yourself open to prosecution?
I don't see the problem with a home grown 33 kit but I can see problems with the law/insurance company's recognizing it

if its already been certified by fi and made as a 33bhp restrictor by alpha teckik (tuv approved)then its as recognised as it can be here . im just refitting them and giving my cert to say the bikes been restricted in my workshop.

Would like to know if anyone has a set for a gsx600f 1999 model.
Can fit myself and take them across the road and get the bike put on a dyno.

I live in south wicklow so getting to meath would be a little far to go for a few washers to be put in the carbs.
Will pay for then this is not a problem.

Or if you know some one that does them down this way would be good as long as they are cheap, I will not pay €250 for 4 washers and a bit of paper.

it sucks alright ,ive tried ways of getting the washers without them certs, then issuing my own ,but the washer makers wont play the game .
btw, there not many doing them for the 240/250. most are 300-350.
costing 180-200 to actualy buy ,the other 40 doesnt actualy cover the time they take to fit so its not the fitter thats making the money

I don't see the problem with doing a few copies once it's not advertised, nobody will see them once their on the bike. If i still had me old job, i'd be knocking them out constantly on the plasma cutter.
