More info,
have you got a clutch through the lever or is it disengaged all the time. If it won't start now.. is it possibly half out of neutral with no clutch mech and therfore no neutral switch to allow it to start.

Maybe you disconnected/damaged the sidestand switch and it's not making the connection. Just a thought since you were tinkering around that area...

make sure u have 3,4mm of play at d lever, maybe d cable is 2 tight.is d engine spining when u try 2 start?if its not it could b ur cluth cut out switch whoz located next 2 ur clutch lever,by pass it with a wire and try 2 start it again.make sure u didnt trap d neutral swich wire between d engine and d sprocket cover when u put it back 2gether.hope this will help!
