Part 4 A : Now for the first tricky bit. Decided to use a front wheel of a
V-Rod (just happened to have one lying about , 19'' as well , just what I needed) for the back wheel. But this was'nt gonna be a simple bolt on, oh no!! The rod front wheel uses two floating brake discs which attach directly to the wheel, and as this is gonna be my rear wheel I need to put the pulley for the belt drive on the left side. The bolt holes are not in the correct position, so need to fix it. |

Part 4 D : Next ,mounted the wheel to detemine how much of a spacer I needed to put between the plate and the Belt pulley,so as to maintain correct belt alinement. Lots of wheel in measure ,wheel out, wheel in measure, cursing, why did I ever start this, ah just use the 16'' wheel, etc ,etc, but got there in the end.

Part 5 : The Handlebars. Decided to make my own H/bars for this build.
Gonna use an old set of buckhorn bars and a stool. A STOOL ??? Well I'm a great believer in using what you got, and the stool has some nice curves and is make in 1'' tubing. PERFECT. |
