Don't use a master cylinder for the handbrake because if/when the seals start weeping, you'll end up chasing it down the road.
I've seen it happen with a van and it's a horrible feeling watching it running off down the road into the side of a car... ouch! You've managed to get it that far so you must be pretty handy at the engineering side of it. Why don't you butcher an old caliper and add a couple of cable operated cams to it... a bit like the brakes on a push bike. |

forgot all about this thread, fare play to ya chippy thats a mad looking yoke, glad to see somebody else playing around with an xv thought i was the only one, hope ya sort out the few bugs soon and get riding that thing not going to be the fastest thing but loads of fun............

Chippy I've an R1 front right hand side caliper that came off my bike. It's not suitable to go back onto a bike as the threads are in shite (ovetightened and stripped). Might suit a handbrake type job. PM me if you want it.
