What are the hazzard lights supposed to signafy when filtering?

As a matter of interest?

Same as the "cloaking device activated" that cage drivers use when illegally parked on double yellows?

Just drive normally, and safely. No need for hazzard lights, cages will see your light before they see the hazzards, and when you go by, they will just think "there is some biker trying to get away with filtering illegally"

find the springs dam good, but not as good as i expected,
think i expected too much the way people were going on about them.
might be just me but still find the front a bit spongy. worth the money though.
got them off speedycom.co.uk, cheapest i could find, but speedy my arse!
they didnt have them in stock and didnt tell me so it took near 2 months. wankers!
heres the link anyway:

hazards arent supposed to signify anything, was going to use them while
filtering through lanes of traffic going same direction. anything to make the bike more visable.

If they don't signify anything (other than a hazzard) then why use them while filtering?

They are not very visible from the front (as your headlight would be much more visible) and from the back all they show is someone trying to make excuses for filtering because they think they should not be doing it.

I'm not saying that is your reason, I am saying that is the impression that the cage drivers will have of you.

It is like the hazard lights on illegally parked cars.

reason i was thinking of doing it was the other night i was stuck in traffic
(cage) in the left lane, had a look in the mirror could mostly see white lights. a bike came
filtering up between lanes and his headlight kinda blended in with the lights of the cages,
another bike came up then with hazards on and stood out a shit load more.
dont see any problem using hazards there, any little thing to make yourself
stand out a bit more is worth the effort in my book.
and fook what the cagers think, they're only jealous!

they are on the left handside on the k5 bandit but dont use em unless you have to stop all of a sudden (like there is going to time to turn them on)

i only use em to say thanks to cages or lorrys that pull in to let me pass
