Anyone know if some of the main shops actually hire out motorbikes for the weekend ? Something walkawayable, like a sordid affair with a moody duke (that you don't have to live with) springs to mind, but less interesting alternatives would do for a quick blast too.

Are you kidding?
No chance, but to be honest it's not their fault, loads of 'em would do it if the insurance situation wasn't so crazy. I was at the advanced stage of opening an adventure touring business in Ireland using a fleet of KMX125s and a bike training operation with a handful of CB500's but the annual insurance premium was 5 figures... |

You mean 'their' fault, I thought you were '3-cups' there for a minute
To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. That KMX craic sounds like fun, obviously more leg snappingly dangerous than similar quad type activities particularily if you get a complete bunch of dopes that dont know what they're doing, Is it not just a case of having public indemnity on a patch of land and the obligatory 'can't touch us you signed this remember' disclaimer ? I think Hibernian have left the insurance scene now too  |
