Default how off me face would i have to be???

how off me face would i have to be to buy this, get it restricted and use it everyday???
i have absolutely no knowledge of beamer bikes so havent a clue about they're usability and reliability
this thing is a beaut tho i love it im seriously considering it am i dreaming or is it do-able

its probably just cause its a shaft drive mono shock, they're not the norm

my only real prob is that bmw badge . it means to me someone in a big cage that usually tries to kill me r knock me off

ye thats what im thinking and it says its a 96 but im pretty sure they only made them up to 87 so its a pretty old thing and id be worried about the reliability

remember last year only had the zrx few weeks. i stop to let a twat in a bmw out of a junction and he cuts the corner so bad he hit my bike .no damage but it only increased my hate of the brand

...speaking to a man in the know in walderstown today about the thread on here about ncts for bikes he reckons defo within 18months and all these streetfighters, customs, cafe racers etc will be 'red stickered' off the roads as well as orig exhausts needed to be refitted to bikes to go thru test ...when i said nct peeps dont know bikes he said main dealers will be the testers ...cant see it happening that quickily but ..

if the law dont suit us either fight it or ignore it altogether.

You can build a kit c***, have it certified by an Automotive Engineer & it's quite legal to use it on the road, so I can't imagine any reason why the same rules wouldn't apply to a modified bike. Regarding the exhausts, the issue here is noise. As long as it complies with the legal Decibel level there shouldn't be any reason why it would fail a test, no matter what exhaust is fitted. There's too much shite talk about this testing, especially as it might not even happen. I work in the vehicle testing business & we haven't been told anything about it.
