its hard to find a 50cc in good condition but even at that she would be safer getting a 100 or 125 scoot if she's getting anything

You're right about the 50s.
When I was looking for a scoot for the young feller a few years ago
I had to look at an unbelieveable amount of shite before I found a good un.
Ended up with an zerox,great yoke,fukin fast

aprilia rs50,nsr80 are much better bikes and very easy insure at 16

Yes, but aren't most of those scooters restricted to 50 km/h out-of-the-crate because of the law in the UK?

Great for her to get around they all have to go through training which takes alot of pressure off parents just make sure you buy a Jap Yamaha, Honda,Suzuki,kwacker not a chinese yoke they will break your balls they are pure shite.
I Ran a aprilia sr 50 summer only for 6 years but you need to be ok with spanners small stuff like no start change plug, noise like a tractor change exhaust gasket stuff like that Jap stuff just goes and goes to be fair

got a bogus 16 year old driving a yamaha 50 cc moped with level one liberty insurance assessment done 373 euro not bad to be on the road
