4 or €500 for a proper bike lift, too dear for the use it will get. So.......

Lidl winch €70
Timber €30
Fixings €10

Workshop roof cave in on top of ya, hole in roof, bike knocked over, untold damage,...

Saves d'oul back big time, plus can then easily jack to whatever I want, Lift again and slip in timbers, whatever is needed.

That's what you keep in mind when putting it together. Making sure it don't happen. Bike kerbs at 260 KG.

Correct. Two beams supporting a 600 kg rated bar that the winch is bolted to.
