Default quick licence question

well lads i started riding bikes when i was 16 and i am now 20 .i passed the driving test when i was 16 also so i got a full A1 licence . im still drivin a tdr 125 and would like to get something bigger in the near future , do i have to go and do another theory test and ibt and then sit the driving test to get the A licence ??

Modifications: Pacemaker. Oh, the bike - gasflowed EXUP fahsand.

Do you/did you have an "A" learner permit lately? If not then I'm afraid you have to do the entire rigmarole, as it's a different license category. The thing is you'll only need to do the IBT Conversion Module, which is two modules out of four.

Thanks for the reply ! no never had an A learner permit , so if i do the conversion module do i still have to go and sit another driving test ?

You do, unfortunately. I passed the A1 test twenty years ago, and fucked around with provisionals for years simply because (at the time)) I could! In 2009 I finally pulled the finger out and got the full-A sorted, but I had to start in Newbie mode. At least I ducked the Jaysis IBT!

you still need to pass the practical test to get the pinkie..

As the licence categories are changing again from next year, it's a good idea to get yerself sorted with the A pinky this year to avoid more possible messing!

The coversion modules are as follows ,module 2 5hrs in the training area (carpark) and module four 6hrs on the road with a bike over 125cc.
