SHANKS MARE. Great day out this Sunday May 20th and
it's for a good cause. Poker Run in aid of the Special
Olympics in Meath. Sign on between 10 and 11.30am at
Supermacs, Navan Road in Trim. Run finishing at Shanks
Mare pub near Summerhill where there will be a BBQ and
MotoGP showing on big screens followed by live music
with MID LIFE CRISIS - rock 'n blues band.

Directions to Shanks Mare.
From Dublin take the N3/Navan Road to the turnoff for
Trim. Pass through Batterstown and past the
Warrenstown Arms until you get to a crossroads
(Batterjohn) which is signposted left for Summerhill
and right for Dunsany/Killmessan. Take the left turn
for Summerhill and about two miles along this road is
a crossroads with the pub on the right.
Alternatively take the M4/N4 from Dublin, exiting for
Kilcock. Before entering Kilcock take a left turn
signposted Summerhill/Trim. Before entering Summerhill
take a right turn for Dunboyne, then the first left
turn for Dunsany/Drogheda. About 2 miles up that road
is a crossroads with the pub on the left.
