Question

So did anyone go? Was it any good? Get to see anyone famous?

Did hear that many of the new 06 models didn't make it...something to do with the bad weather on the "mainland"!

Went up to the show in Belfast yesterday, what a joke, I know I was warned but I thought, at least, the main manufaturers would have their new models on display.

The only bikes represented where Ducati, from Dublin who where asked on Friday to come to the show! they had the biggest display of bikes.

Allans had a few Hondas, mainly small cc bikes.

There was a scattering of used + race bikes around & that was it from the bikes point of view.

Lots of clothes & helmet stalls + a some small stall holders.

Loris Caparosi was there signing stuff, never realised how small he is, like a jockey.

It was so bad myself & the mate could not stop laughing on the way out & most of the way home

So Folks don't expect the RDS bikeshow to be any better when it comes around in 2006. Went to its this year and it was a complete waste of money.....so be warned.

I've gone to both over the last few years (obviously tho I missed this w-end's show) and have to say that the RDS probably pips the Northern one but not by much. It's usually a bit bigger and has more outdoor stuff, stunt riders, purple helmets, etc..

But Sugs is right, I would keep my expectations in check before going to either.
