Default cbr100f cam tensioner

hey all, lookin for bit of info, whats the story with the tensioners on a 96 cbr1000f, are they difficult to replace? expensive?

surely get a manuel tensioner for it anyways,,wudnt mind a manuel for me wan either in the pic

that bike is not a 96 it's one of the older models 86-92

No manual tensioners, the cct is internal in em, rocker cover off jobbie, new one might cure the rattle, might not. Even if it does it will come back after a while.
There's chains in the bottom ends too that make a racket, they are non adjustable and are a full strip to replace

I was figurin I might buy it, do the cam tensioner an maybe make a few bucks, as im out of work at moment. The battery was flat, but I did not even ask him to start it. If ya lookin for that kind a bike, I'm sure it would be fine.

taught that meself but gave it the benifit of the doubt as it wasa 1000cc modle cbr and not a fireblade of that erra
