Default Touch up for a ZXR400

Well lads, just wondering whats the best way forward with my bike. The nose fairing and and right hand fairing could do with a touch up (bad stone chips on the nose fairing the right hand one is scuffed) Neither one is cracked or that badly damaged it just looks a bit tatty. Its the multicolour kwacker paint scheme so might be hard to match with out making a balls of it

you could go to motor factors or specalist auto paint shop, some of them will mix the paint and make an aerosol for you.
most wont have bike color chips but if you have the paint code they may have the 'recepie' in the data base or be able to get from their distrubutor.

If there are variants on the color you may need to bring a bit of fairing with you. I know AxoNobel used to have a camera in their head office that would determine the paint recepie by scanning a piece of the paint. That was years ago so maybe they are more commonplace now
Should be easy enough to mask off the different areas and paint in sections. Just use a very sharp craft knife to cut along the masking tape before removing it so as not to tear the fresh paint, then laquer the whole area when done
