Any CBR 600RR owners out there have any problems with their oil light.
I'm looking to buy one and have found a "cheap" one but the oil light keeps coming on on it. The oil level is fine and Bray Honda centre can't seem to find the cause?? Haven't bought it or any thing yet and was just wondering if this is a common problem or would I be buying hardship?? |

Its not a common problem and if its suspiciously cheap beware!
Ring the bray honda centre and get some info. If its a 03/04 model the oil warning light is a red and blue wire that goes from the light to the oil pressure switch. Either the oil pressure is not correct or the oil switch sensor is faulty. If the sensor is faulty it would be worth buying if its a pressure problem there is way to much trouble inside there to be fixed cheaply. |
