Default bellypan- remove heatshield?

Got a bellypan off the webternet.

I never fitted one before. I can't decide if i'm supposed to remove the heatshields or not.

Any ideas?

THere are there to protect the belly pan from overheating or any coolant leaking so dont remove them IMO !! Some people do for aesthetic reasons but I wouldnt !!
