For xmas, my missus got me a little scale plastic model of a Honda Blackbird. (I think they had them in Lidl or Aldi for a while.) She liked it bc it was red. Out of all the crap you get for xmas, it was my favorite gift; it's sitting on the bookcase and it just looks cool.

I'm painting more bikes than ever before. I think I've improved a lot since I first started. I can't wait to get an aluminium frame for the Norton Commando I recently finished.

Each painting takes me a few days, doing it "by the hour" is usu. 6-12hrs, depending on the amt of background and level of detail in the motor, etc. Leaves (on trees, in the background) are a real pain in the ass, but look cool if you're patient.

I'll have three, maybe four (depending on what wall space the woman of the house allows me to have) hanging on the walls, and just swap in the prints based on my mood.

Right now I'm doing an old Ariel. It's coming out really good.

In short, no. However...

I do these by hand using a Wacom Intuos2 graphics tablet, using art simulation software. It's a simulated canvas background. I use a photo as a reference, and set the software for oil paint. Then I use the pen and tablet to "paint" the image, using different width "brushes" and palette knives and so forth, selecting whatever color I want.

When finished, just export the image; then print and frame at your leisure.
