My Motorcycle Pics Motorbike: ZX10R kz1000 gs750
Modifications: go go juice in the tank
Default Tank repair/paint

How's it going lads and lassies.. Anyone around co Limerick ish that can clean the inside of a petrol tank.. Slight bit of rust from lying idle in the shed and spraying it black...nothing fancy just a half decent job.

have a look on youtube
and you'll find a few ways of cleaning out the tank...
may as well give it a go urself...pointless paying someone to do
the very same as you can do....
when you get that done I might be able to get it painted black
for you..

Handfull of old nuts an ballbearings shot of kerosine or petrol an a good old shake rattle n roll rince an repeat

4:1 mix....would that mix be 4 ball bearings to 1 nut...or the other way round..

sounds mad but apple cider vinegar works at removing rust. just pour it in the tank and leave it for a few days and the rust flakes off

how many mile to the gallon will you get with that?

But seriously, will that be safe with the carbs and fuel lines?

now that sounds very easy....and my tank is off....its worth a try.... its just a bit of rust from being left idle.... its a spare tank
