Default Irwin 'immediately comfortable' with Kawasaki ZX10R at Guadix

Glenn Irwin yesterday made his debut for the Quattro JG Speedfit Kawasaki British Superbike squad on the first day of testing at Guadix and said he feels immediately comfortable on the ZX-10RR.

Irwin gets to grips with a four-cylinder British Superbike for the first time

The young Irishman has switched from the booming Panigale V-twin to a four-pot for the first time in three years and 2019 will be his first in the Bennetts British Superbike series on a multi-cylinder bike.
“It was really good to get on the bike today. The last time I rode a four-cylinder was the Gearlink Kawasaki Supersport at the Sunflower in 2015, so it was very different,” said Irwin.

“I immediately felt comfortable on the bike, I had to get used to a different gear pattern that it would have been on the twin but we managed to get through quite a lot of electronics strategies and started to play with the chassis.

“Predominantly, it has been about getting in the laps and I think I totalled nearly 80 on day one. The lads have been mega to work with and it gives me a lot of focus and motivation for 2019.”

i could see this being like Josh Brookes in 2015
No roads so as to fully focus on the job at hand..to win WSB, and that's what exactly worked for Brookes.
Glen has to shine now, top man in this team. goal is to win BSB.
Hence i do not see the roads being on his radar or specifically, not allowed to do the roads. BSB comes first.
