Default Airport parking Shannon

I've a short 3 day trip coming up with a very early start and late finish. Anyone know the story with parking a motorcycle at Shannon airport ?
Is it free ? Is it safe ? Is it insane ?

Should be safe enough, it is an airport with 24 hr security

What are you driving? Duville?

Bring a chain and lock it to something solid - add a disk lock for good measure

Abus 5kg lock & chain arrived today. My god it's a bulky beast. Trying to figure out how to carry it safely and figure out how to thread it through some strong part of the deauville.

Abus granit power 58 (58/140 HB III)

Shannon airport is as safe as you can get.
only one road in so scumbags won't bother cos it would be
too obvious pushing a bike up the road
fit a kill switch for extra peace of mind

it's a Deauville so the pros won't bother.

its madness carrying a 5KG chain around.
keep the chain at home and don't be worrying about theft from Shannon Airport.

there would be more chance of some sleepy traveller reversing his cage over it.
mind where you park.

Thanks for the tips, probably not worth the p&p to return the chain and I must admit I thought it was overkill when j unpacked it. Still, given I'm under 65kg I don't think the DV will object to carrying the extra weight. I rode to Dublin with it in the top box and contrary to my dears I didn't even notice it.
