Default marks on bore

Im recommissioning the KMX 200. About 10 hrs of running ago I got the bore re nikasiled and a new piston but the bike probably had some abuse in the hands of my son, and I notice very fine vertical scores in the bore, you cant feel them but you can see them. Anything to worry about?

Nobody knows what your idea of 'fine' is.
Take pictures and post them here.

Run your nail across them, if you can feel any of them under it they'll be bad enough for the plating to start lifting. If not, drive it on

Click the image to open in full size.

Looks OK to me, despite the focus being somewhere in the neightbour's house.

If you can't feel it with your fingernail it'll probably be fine. Same goes for crank journals
