2 runs on the dyno, one run the hbp was done from the rear wheel, came in at 201hbp and the other run was done from the ignition which came in at 193bhp, the ignition one is %100 accurate the dyno from the rear wheel can be off by a few ponies. Have the dyno sheets to go with it and all the work was done by Gary in Mototuning, anyone who knows him knows he knows his shit

How do you measure BHP from the ignition?
The dyno measures torque, and uses a built in calculation (HP = T x RPM / 5252) to convert the torque measurement to BHP (Have you noticed how the torque and BHP lines always meet @ 5252RPM?).

Without driving a dyno directly from the crankshaft, I don't see how it could possibly be 100% accurate.

I'm no expert but that's what Gary said and did although I'm most likely not explaining in correctly, that's his profession, not mine.

I've always said, everyone should own a 'busa, at least once. There's nothing capable of inducing a grin like them.

Is there anything more 'muscle' than a 'busa?

Ha ha ha.....Well I've started up a new business so need a bit of cash but I've always always wanted a GSX1400, loved the 2 bandits I had, that upright riding position, low down torque so gonna pic up the Gsx once I sell the Busa, I'm still relatively young, can always get another busa, maybe a Gen3 if it ever happens

a good zx12..last model, is a sweet thing, bit tall and top heavy for some, vrs busa
earlier zx12 were a bit shite when tired, fuelling, brakes
busa early brakes...not good
ive had both
also had last model zx14
streets ahead of both, handling, finesse, power, brakes
put a full system and a ecu flash on it, top end was mental, mid range massive, you could go very fast without going near top end, and when you did..boom, was like having 2 bikes
flash made it more fluid, less engine braking /less fork dive and and smoother back on power
im sure diff bikes will have different gains from a flash, but on zx was very noticeable, and very much an addition
