Depends who they get - there's a fair few judges who are bikers - 3 in the high court. Was talking to a "person" who works for a firm representing insurance companies - if they're disputing a claim & one of them comes up as hearing the case, they just settle because they know they're sympathetic to bikers.

Screw the judge, acute psychiatric secure ward in connolly. Seems you have to really go big to have the licence revoked lol.

When he is found responsible for a death or serious injury, providing there is a witness about, probably then his licence will be revoked....too little too late......

well done. looks like he's just sitting there waiting for something - perhaps motorbikes to try run off the road - if you were on the bike he might've done something, chances are he'll get worse

Sure don't you have to be mad to drive one of them things.

I saw on some news things today about the passengers in cages pushing cyclists off the road, as a new form of entertainment. Did this gobshite have something similar in mind?

he can be sectioned under the mental health act if he's endangering himself or others. i don't see why he still out in public at all? probably guards don't know the law well enough for stuff like this.

Exactly. Ya can be locked up for not having the money to pay fines. But if you're a bit nuts shur why don't you just carry on trying to kill someone jeez

Currently in the middle of dealing with a situation where a family member is suffering from a severe mental illness. So I can tell ye lads the "service" simply doesn't exist. Lots off initial flowery talk about care in the community when they were closing mental health units and day centres all over the country which translates into ....let the family try and handle them. These People are seen as a walking talking COST nothing else. The last thing the state wants to do is treat them.....that costs money.
