Default posting stolen bike threads

hopefully you'll never need this thread but it happens .............
try help us to help you by posting as much info and pics as possible .
thread title is important , titles like " bike robbed today " are no good and will get overlooked as people wont know if its even a new thread.
you need a title with the info like "9/3/11 stolen in cork , grey hyaduki zbx 536, reg 11d123 ." ie as much info as possible and the date .
pics always help esp pics of distinguishing features / parts that would help identify the bike .
update the thread as much as possible and please let us know if its recovered .

Attempted theft of a bike in the last 30 mins in Rathoath, a lad I know and a bike taken last night in ashbourne. They are out and about and be sure if they didnt get one tonight they'll be out the next while. It's warm outside too prime conditions, hope they die roaring

Could we make a sticky topic with a list of missing bikes, pictures, details and locations since there are so many bikes going missing.
Think it could make it easier for people to possibly spot a stolen bike without having to trawl through pages.

It could however be an idea to use a template something like this?
BIKE MAKE:

BIKE MODEL:

YEAR:

COLOUR:

EXTRAS (mod's aftermarket parts etc.):

LAST SEEN:

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES (scratches/dents etc.):

CONTACT:

Also as many decent pics as possible

That's a great idea. A standardised template, along the lines of the For Sale one to make sure people get the right info in there to help people spot the bike.

Stay away from the north, south, east, or west side of Dublin. Oh and the city centre too.

Should be ok anywhere else
