Agree with you there Custom. Bad enough for a family to suffer their grief without some arsehole making light of it for his own amusement. Some lads have no cop on.

Custom, maybe add a PS to your first post to mention racing incidents?

Good point Gipi

Good call about racing accidents too. The amount of shite that goes around about someone after a big off can be terrible.

Get over it.
The rules say that it can be posted when the incident is on the news (meaning that it has been confirmed), this just cuts down on bad rumours.

And allows for families to be informed, God forbid someone's family member would read about the tragic passing of one of their own on a website. It was me that contacted the mods here and on other sites with the news of Derek's tragic passing, as I have unfortunately had to do too many times in the past when other riders have lost their lives, as I usually find out pretty quickly or am at the racing myself. God forbid lads but I would hate to think if anything happened me when out on the bike my family would read about it on here rather than face to face, remember it could be any of us next so a little common sense and solidarity can save a world of pain for a family.

I am not calling for anyone to be 'Buswalded', banned or pilloried, it serves no purpose whatsoever and indeed only causes friction at a time when we should all be united in grief for the falling of one of our own. Lets draw a line under this lads and ladies and allow Derek be mourned with the respect he duly and deservedly earned whilst alive.

From now on lets wait till a Moderator or Admin himself posts the unfortunately inevitable news when another of our heroes loses their most important race.

Aidan.
